Google Maps (Google.com/maps) gives you a birds-eye view of just about any street (you can even see your house). Google Maps is a map that shows an overhead view, and Google Street View is a ground-level photographic rendering of places, street and points of interest.

No question that Google Maps is the most data-rich map in the world. But did you know you can go inside buildings with Google Maps? With an authorized Google contractor, you can create a virtual 3-D tour of your office.  The Google contractor brings a special camera mounted on a tripod that spins around and captures everything.

Creating a Virtual 3-D Tour of Your Law Office

A day after the video shoot, the virtual 3-D tour is uploaded by the Google contractor. And as long as you’re in business, anyone using Google Maps can get a virtual tour of your office by clicking on the icon for your law firm. Pretty cool, right?  But the fun doesn’t stop there.

Here’s what you’ll get:

-A branded link for a virtual 3-D tour of your office,
-An embedded link that you can upload to your website,
-30 high quality 4K photos (4x the resolution of 1080p images),
-99% accurate 2D floor plan with room descriptions and dimensions
-Virtual tour published to Google Street View

Check out https://bit.ly/2v1ZHgR for the virtual tour of John H. Fisher, P.C.  To begin the virtual tour, click the “Play” icon for the auto-play or manually navigate using the arrows on your keyboard (just as you would navigate on Google Maps).  Using a URL shortener (Bitly or Goo.gl/), you can make the URL shorter and create a custom link.

Socialize Your Virtual Tour

To make full use of your virtual 3-D tour, share it with the world:

-Paste the branded links in your firm’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube profiles,
-Highlight and post the virtual tour URL link into print and email newsletters and your email signature,
-Embed the virtual tour into your existing website just as you would a YouTube video.
-When confirming an appointment for a new client, send them a link to the virtual tour.

With a virtual 3-D tour of your law office, you’ve got an asset that will last for your career. Not shabby for $250! Go to www.Google.com/streetview/hire to find a Google contractor to produce the virtual tour of your law office.
